Early Childhood Teacher / Director | Community Kindergarten 

• Up to $70 per hour + Super 
• Part-time role | 5-day fortnight 
• Hands-on teaching combined with service leadership 

The Centre 

This established community kindergarten in Ipswich offers a warm and inclusive environment with a strong focus on play-based learning, relationships and each child’s individual development. The service is closely connected with families and the local community, creating a supportive and collaborative setting for both children and educators. 

The Opportunity 

This role would suit an experienced Early Childhood Teacher who enjoys being present with children while also contributing at a leadership level. Working across a 5-day fortnight, you’ll combine hands-on teaching with Director duties, supporting educators, guiding quality practice and contributing to the ongoing direction of the kindergarten.

Requirements 

• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or ACECQA Approved ECT 
• Current Blue Card, First Aid and CPR 
• Strong knowledge of the NQS and early childhood learning frameworks 
• Experience delivering quality play-based learning programs 
• Confident and collaborative leadership style
