The Centre 

This early learning centre in the Ipswich Region offers a warm, home-like environment focused on strong relationships with children, families, and educators. Catering to children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, it features a well-designed, resource-rich setting. Led by supportive leadership, the centre promotes a culture of belonging, inclusivity, and high-quality education, aiming to create a bright future for every child. 

The Opportunity 

This 2IC role is for a confident, relationship-driven leader to step into the Assistant Director role. Working closely with the Centre Director, you’ll help lead the team, deliver high-quality curriculum outcomes, and model best practice. This role will be an off-the-floor 2IC position, where you will have the time to guide and mentor the staff.

Requirements 

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent) 
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) 
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification 
• Strong understanding of NQF, NQS, EYLF & QKLG 
• Proven leadership experience within early childhood 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
